Totems (Mario Story Fruit Shake)

In an upcoming Paper Mario fangame topic of the same name, Mario can find these wooden statues.

+Totems are re-textures of pre-existing sprites and 3d models. There are some exceptions to this rule, though.
+Like Badges, Mario can equip Totems on the pause screen. When equipped, they grant Mario various passive effects.
+At the beginning of the game, Mario has 2 Totem slots. For every 2 Quest Levels he gains, the number of slots is increased by 1.
+If Mario equips two different Totems with the same kind of effect (ex change Jump attribute to a specific element), he only gets the effect of one of them at random. Mario is warned about this when Totems are explained.

+Mario inflicts x1.3 the damage on the first hit of attacks for the first three turns of battle. From the fourth turn and onward, however, Mario receives x1.2 the damage from enemies.
