Description
High resolution sprites for a Paper Mario version of Rex, a Super Mario World enemy.
A small tyrannosaurus rex, this dino just keeps jogging endlessly. Unlike most Mario baddies, jumping on Rex once is only half the battle- literally, as he turns into a mini-mode. It takes two jumps to send Rex into extinction.
Since his debut game, Rex has appeared in a few other Mario games like Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga (plus Bowser's Minions) and Super Princess Peach. Rexes also obviously appeared a bit in the Super Mario World TV show, finding Yoshi-saurs delicious.
Rex has not officially shown up in any Paper Mario games. While a few fan projects inevitably may have included him, the DMZ fangame topic timeline does not. This is more just for others to use.
