Description
Paper Mario sprites for Lakitu, an enemy from the first Super Mario Bros.
Lakitus have appeared in many Super Mario Bros. video games. One even has a role as a flagsman and rescuer in the Mario Kart series. Meanwhile, in Paper Mario, Lakitus appeared in the original trilogy, with a single one in the 3DS game. Strangely, they're not present in the Wii U game with Paper Mario, nor do Paper ones appear in Paper Jam. Even more odd, normal Lakitus appear as friendly NPCs in Paper Jam- which would mean they were useable as allies in the Wii U game, too. ...er, anyways, the only extra Lakitu appearances in the DMZ recut timeline is a single Lakitu in Relic Hunter delivering bad news to Kamek. Meanwhile, the other Lakitu from the eighth-gen games is replaced with Lakithunder in the 3DS recut.
This spritesheet is for Lakitu's appearance as an in an upcoming Paper Mario fangame topic. I actually made this spritesheet a while back, but since it's going to be a long time before Fruit Shake is finished, I decided to reveal this guy earlier. Spiny is also appearing as an enemy in Fruit Shake.
